The Pressure: 2.0 to 2.4 ATA Changes Everything

How Pressure Reduces Swelling and Edema
The pressure effect on swelling works through two simultaneous mechanisms:
- Vasoconstriction Reduces Fluid Leak: the increased pressure causes a measured narrowing of small blood vessels in inflamed tissue.
