Removing the Fat

Your surgeon makes incisions on the undersides of your arms. The length and pattern of the incisions depend on how much skin will be removed. These are typically thin and inconspicuous, ensuring that the resulting scar is also hidden. After making the incisions, the surgeon removes any excess fat through liposuction, using the state-of-the-art technology we have at RG Aesthetics.

Removing the Skin

Then, he tightens your underlying tissues and secures them with stitches. Your skin is then draped over the new contours, after removing the excess skin. This ensures the most natural results.

Stitches are used to close the incisions. The entire procedure takes approximately three to four hours and is performed under general anesthesia.

The Incisions

The incision is made from the armpit to the elbow. Therefore, these scars are not visible if you stand straight. However, they will be visible if you raise your arms.

As time passes and you recover, the scar fades significantly. At RG Aesthetics, we use fractional lasers over the scar after three weeks following the surgery. This method fades the scar further for better results.
