How You Should Prepare For Chin Augmentation?

After discussing the procedure with your surgeon, you will go through a number of steps to ensure you are fit for the procedure. This counts as preparation for the lift. These include:

Reviewing your medical history
Undergoing a physical examination
Discussing your expectations
Explaining why you want Genioplasty and what results you hope for
Stop smoking for at least two weeks before the surgery
Do not resume smoking until a complete recovery

What is the Procedure of Chin Augmentation?

Chin augmentation surgery at RG Aesthetics uses an artificial implant placed under the skin that boosts the chin’s definition. This augmentation gives a well-proportioned look to the patient’s face that seems entirely natural.

The procedure usually takes 45 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on the surgeon’s and the patient’s preference. The incision is placed inside of the mouth, making the scars invisible.
