Surgical Vaginal Rejuvenation
Labiaplasty/Vulvaplasty
Labiaplasty reduces the length of the labia minora by removing excess tissue. This procedure ensures that it does not hang below the hair-bearing labia majora. This looks more natural. The closure is done with absorbable sutures.
You require a week off from work, during which you ice the swelling and pain. You also keep your pelvis elevated so that the swelling goes down faster.
Clitoral Hood Reduction
Clitoral hood reduction involves removing extra clitoral folds, therefore improving the appearance of the genitalia. Depending on the patient’s natural contours, the surgeon marks excess tissue for removal. This ensures natural-looking results. Then excision is performed, and closure is done with absorbable sutures.
This procedure is often done with labiaplasty and can be considered a subsection of labiaplasty. The recovery, too, happens alongside labiaplasty.

Labia Majoraplasty
A labia majoraplasty surgically reduces the size of the outer, hair-bearing labia majora. In this procedure, your surgeon removes two crescents of skin from the inner part of each labium. How much they remove entirely depends on the excess tissue.
Sometimes there is resulting atrophy of fatty tissue. For this, a small amount of fat may be transferred via liposuction. The closure is then done with absorbable sutures.
Most of the swelling subsides within six weeks if the patient continues with regular icing packs.
Monsplasty
A Monsplasty reduces the bulging of the mons. This is done by removing the excess, bulging skin. Excision may be extensive if the patient has a lot of skin. However, in other cases, liposuction may be enough.
The patient spends about a week in recovery. Physical activity needs to be restricted for 2-6 weeks. The results are a mons that typically projects less in clothing.
Vaginoplasty
Vaginoplasty brings together the separated muscles and removes excess mucosa skin from the back of the vagina. This, in turn, tightens the vagina.
Your surgeon uses a pie-shaped wedge to mark the extra skin that needs to be removed from inside the vagina. Then strong sutures are used to tighten the tissues. After this, the mucosal skin is sutured closed. If there is any protruding external skin, this is also reduced for a more aesthetic result.
Patients experience 1-2 weeks of downtime. After recovery, they usually feel enhanced sexual satisfaction.
Non-Surgical Genital Rejuvenation
Our team of board-certified plastic surgeons at RG Aesthetics uses state-of-the-art equipment, ArvatiThermiVA, for non-surgical vaginal tightening. ThermiVa is an in-office procedure and does not require the administration of anesthesia. It is a 30-minute procedure, and patients may need multiple sessions as per their condition.
During the procedure, ultrasound gel is applied to the treatment area. The procedure is then performed using therapeutic and radiofrequency energy, which helps in contracting and tightening of the labia and vaginal canal. This shrinks and tightens the outer tissues and stimulates collagen and elastin fiber production. ThermiVa initiates tissue and nerve healing while increasing the firmness of the skin, making it more supple.
