Thrilled to have been a part of the prestigious German Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons Annual Meeting held at the iconic @hoteladlonkempinski Berlin as an international faculty member. It was an amazing opportunity to learn, grow and exchange ideas with some of the most brilliant minds in the field.
What made this conference even more special was that IAAPS co-hosted the conference with German Association, and a contingent of 24 plastic surgeons represented India at Berlin.
It was an honor to host Mr. P Harish, Indian Ambassador to Germany, and his Secretary, Mr. Gaurav Sharma, for this conference. We had the pleasure of His Excellency visiting the Indian delegation for a meet and greet. Another highlight of the conference was meeting Ms. Melinda Haws @mhawplastics – President of the American Society of Aesthetic Surgeons, and signing an MOU for a strategic partnership between aesthetic societies of the two countries.
Such meetings not only help us showcase the skills of the Indian Plastic Surgery fraternity to the world but also create lasting relationships and camaraderie among surgeons across the globe.
The importance of exchanging learning in this field that is constantly evolving cannot be overstated. Conferences such as this help us to stay updated on the latest advancements and implement them back home for the benefit of our patients. I am grateful for this opportunity to contribute to the growth of the field and to bring back invaluable insights for the betterment of our practice.
And of course, spending quality time with my family in beautiful Berlin before the conference made it all the more special. Making unforgettable memories with my loved ones in this stunning city was the icing on the cake!
